Tickets are now available for our Open Days in 2026

Starting from 3 April, we will be open to the public every Saturday & Sunday for our popular Open Days. 

This year we are issuing customers with annual passes. This means you can revisit as many times as you want, on any of these open days:

11/12 Apr, 25/16 Apr, 2/3 May, 9/10 May, 16/17 May, 23/24 May, 30/31 May (1940s Vintage Weekend), 6/7 June, 13/14 June, 20/21 June, 27/28 June, 4/5 July, 11/12 July, 18/19 July, 25/26 July, 1/2 Aug, 8/9 Aug (Pirate Adventure Weekend), 15/16 Aug, 22/23 Aug, 29/30 Aug, 5/6 Sept, 12/13 Sept, 19/20 Sept, 26/27 Sept.

Your annual pass is NOT included on 18 & 19 April or on our Fireworks event.

What happens on a weekend Open Day?

Step back in time and explore the fascinating history of our historic gunpowder factory. Uncover the secrets of this unique site while enjoying the stunning natural beauty of its greenery and woodlands. Explore the Grade I-listed Gunpowder Incorporating Mill, learn about its design and use dating back to the 1860s and discover how this landmark shaped the industrial era and beyond.

Your ticket includes access to a variety of exciting activities, including:

  • Rocket making (or other children's craft activity on themed open days)
  • Tractor-trailer tours
  • Railway rides
  • Interactive exhibitions and hands-on displays
