Topic Description

Students will experience a one hour interactive science show designed to ignite curiosity and demonstrate Newton's laws of motion in an engaging way. Students will be introduced to concepts such as gravity, friction and acceleration through a series of exciting experiments.

Students will have the chance to explore our Rocket Vault which holds a range of rockets from an early 19th century gunpowder rockets to mid 20th century British sounding rockets. 

Students will put their understanding of forces to the test by making and launching their own air-powered rockets. KS3 students will have the opportunity to devise their own fair tests, gather data and report findings.

On Site Visits run from 10:30AM – 2:00PM (arrival time 10:00AM – 2:30PM departure time).
